DALLAS — The Dallas Mavericks and WFAA’s parent company TEGNA announced in September a multi-year media rights agreement that will make WFAA the team's official local broadcast partner.
Under the new deal, all non-nationally televised Mavericks games – 70 or more this upcoming season – will be broadcast for free over-the-air on either WFAA (Ch. 8) or the TEGNA-owned KFAA (Ch. 29).

The streaming option will be available for the 2024-2025 season for a monthly fee of $14.99 or a season-long pass for $124.99, the release states.
Fans can access MavsTV starting now through the NBA app, NBA.com and all NBA-supported assets, powered by the NBA’s Next Gen integrated digital platform, the release states. A MavsTV app will launch later this season with game footage, exclusive coverage and on-demand content, the Mavs said.
