DALLAS — Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Dallas is no stranger to the national news cycle.

Since taking office in 2023, Crockett has been named Co-Chair for Kamala Harris' presidential campaign and gained a reputation for responding forcefully to criticism. But no incident has drawn national attention quite like her response to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga. saying her false eyelashes were interfering with her vision.

Crockett responded, asking if "talking about somebody's bleach blonde, bad-built butch body" would fit into the committee ruling. That insult leveled at Greene earned Crockett an "appearance" on Saturday Night Live's season opener Saturday.

Cast member Ego Nwodim portrayed Crockett in a sketch centered around pop star Charli XCX, portrayed by Bowen Yang, hosting a political talk show. Yang introduces the fictional Crockett by calling her "the bad girl of C-SPAN."

Crockett responded to the spoof on X Sunday.
