DALLAS — It's been a busy summer for North Texas malls, with several high-profile store openings underway or in the works.
The most attention-grabbing of these has likely been the expected arrival of Uniqlo, the Japanese retailer that is making its debut in North Texas in October. But numerous other stores have opened recently -- or will be open soon -- at busy malls like Galleria Dallas and NorthPark Center.
Among the recent announcements include luxury fashion store Amiri opening at NorthPark, taking up part of the old Nike store space. (Nike has since moved to a bigger two-story space in the mall).
Also, Galleria landed a big get when Netflix House, a new entertainment concept from the streaming giant, announced plans to take over an anchor space at the massive Dallas mall.
