Amiri, a Los Angeles-based luxury fashion house, has secured a spot in Dallas' NorthPark Center.

The store opened Aug. 15 in part of Nike's old space in the mall. Amiri leased 4,400 square feet — its largest retail space to date.

Nike still has a presence in the mall — it moved in 2023 into a larger, two-story space that once housed H&M. It became a reimagined "Nike Rise" store, a concept within the footwear and apparel company described as "a sport performance-led retail experience designed to inspire, connect and equip athletes of all ages," the Dallas Morning News reported.

The old Nike store was split into four spaces, with one occupied by Amiri. Prada and Givenchy are set to open soon next door, according to the mall website.

Amiri sells items such as a $790 maxi dress, $1,090 loafers and a $350 credit card wallet, according to its website.

Amiri has another Texas store located at The Galleria in Houston, which opened in October 2023. Other Amiri locations can be found in California, New York, Florida, Nevada, Georgia and Illinois. The store's footprint stretches internationally with locations in China, Japan, Dubai, France and South Africa.

Amiri's lease at NorthPark signifies the enduring power of luxury retail in Dallas. NorthPark, which spans around 2 million square feet, is filled with such companies, including Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

Meanwhile, Galleria Dallas is set to welcome a large Uniqlo store in October, part of a wave of changes at the mall.
