Easter Sunday Afternoon - Evening
Most of North Texas will be clearing, warm, and windy.
Highs will top out in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees before a strong cold front arrives during the late afternoon into evening hours.
There's also a chance for an isolated to scattered thunderstorm during this time. Chances are mainly across the northern and northeastern part of North Texas, but can't rule out a storm moving through parts of the northern Dallas - Fort Worth area.
Any storms that form would have heavy downpours and frequent lightning. While the severe threat is low, can't rule out a storm or two with large hail.
That strong cold front arrives this evening into tonight bringing much colder temps along with it. By Monday morning, temps will be in the 30s and 40s area-wide, so enjoy the warm weather while it lasts!
