DFW weather: Airport delays, power outages reported in area

No destination-specific delays are being reported, the FAA said.

DALLAS — As of Wednesday night, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW International) was reporting gate hold delays of at least an hour to an hour and 15 minutes and increasing, and flight arrival traffic is experiencing delays on 15 minutes or less, according to the Federal Aviation Administration

No destination-specific delays were reported, the FAA said.

Meanwhile, Oncor is reporting more than 200 outages in the DFW area, affecting more than 7,50 customers.

As of 9:30 p.m., WFAA has received multiple reports of flooding north of DFW and flooded roads in Wise and Grayson counties. Use extra caution on the roadways. This is especially dangerous as nighttime has arrived and it will be hard to identify flooded roadways.

Along with heavy rain, we're receiving high wind and hail reports. Storm spotters have reported penny-size hail in Collin County. Flash flooding has also been reported in Collin County, and Wise County EMS teams are headed out for water rescues, as is the Fort Worth Fire Department.

Additional storms may be capable of pocket-change hail.
