DALLAS — Storms and showers were moving through North Texas on Friday morning, just as spring break travel was expected to get started, especially at the airports.
While the severe weather chances weren't high, heavy rain and lightning were likely to cause some delays and possible cancellations -- and that was already the case early Friday.
So, if you're flying into or out of North Texas airports, be sure to give yourself extra time and plan ahead should any cancellations or delays get in your way.
