Severe storms affected flights in North Texas: Check your DFW, Love Field flight status

Here's how to check your flight status if you're flying out of or into Dallas Love Field or Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport.

DALLAS — North Texas was under a tornado watch until 6 p.m. Monday, as severe storms were expected to develop across the area through the afternoon.

By 6:30 p.m. Monday, 944 flights had been delayed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, and 125 flights had been canceled. At Love Field, 204 flights had been delayed and three had been canceled. Both airports are on a ground delay until 8:59 p.m.

At both airports, the average flight delay was over an hour as thunderstorms passed over North Texas.
