DALLAS — The Dallas Cowboys are the most valuable franchise in sports. But in many ways, they're still a family business.

Owner Jerry Jones is the most visible face of the franchise – even more so than the coaches and players – but he's not the only member of the Jones family in an executive role with the team.

In fact, the top four Cowboys executives are all Jones family members – Jones himself and his three adult children: Stephen Jones, chief operating officer; Charlotte Jones, chief brand officer; and Jerry Jones Jr., chief sales & marketing officer.

Each of Jones' children are de facto heirs to the team and also hold co-owner titles within the organization.

While Jerry Jones is the team's general manager, that's a role that Stephen Jones also works closely with, helping build the team's roster, evaluate draft picks and negotiate contract deals.

Charlotte Jones deals with all things brand-related for the Cowboys, including the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and the Cowboys' famed Thanksgiving Halftime Show.

Jerry Jones Jr. oversees the club's sales and marketing, including the franchise's merchandising business and digital and broadcast media.

The Cowboys, of course, have numerous executives not named Jones, including vice president of player personnel, Will McClay, who works closely with Jerry and Stephen Jones on building the Cowboys' roster.

There's one more Jones family member on the payroll, albeit not in an executive role just yet. Shy Anderson, Jerry Jones' grandson and the son of Charlotte Jones, works in the front office as a scouting assistant.
