PITTSBURGH — Hurt or injured?

Dallas Cowboys receiver Jalen Tolbert doesn't seem to be injured, but he was apparently hurting.

Just before making the game-winning catch against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday night -- excuse us, Monday morning -- Tolbert apparently suffered a slight discomfort.

In fact, let's just have Cowboys offensive lineman Tyler Smith explain this one:

"Bro, it was miraculous," Smith told reporters after the game. "JT literally sprained his f------ nuts. Excuse me, sorry guys, sprained his nuts the play before. Then comes back, makes the game-winner. Unbelievable."

Ouch.

Smith's face said it all.

It's not clear what happened to Tolbert to cause such an unsettling, um, sprain. In any case, it didn't seem to affect his play. He made the biggest catch of his life on fourth down to put the Cowboys in the lead with just seconds remaining.

“We have a play call that we love, we’re very confident in, regardless of the defense,” Prescott told reporters. “Offensive line did a great job, Tolbert came open to the left, just had to make the throw.”

The win moved Dallas to 3-2 on the season, with all three wins coming on the road against the Browns, Giants and Steelers. Sunday night's win came after an hour-plus weather delay to start the night, so it was well after midnight when Prescott hit Tolbert for the winning touchdown. The Cowboys finally made it back home to Dallas around 5 a.m. Monday.
