DALLAS — MFFLs have yet another option to watch every Mavericks game this season, this time on a new streaming platform.

The Dallas Mavericks announced the launch of MavsTV, a streaming platform that will broadcast over 70 games directly to fans within the team's approved region, according to a press release from the Mavericks. Fans throughout Texas and parts of Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Oklahoma will be able to stream all Mavs games that are not nationally televised.

The streaming option will be available for the 2024-2025 season for a monthly fee of $14.99 or a season-long pass for $124.99, the release states.

The games will also be broadcast for free over the air on KFAA Ch. 29 and WFAA Ch. 8. Fans can watch 70 games for free on KFAA starting Saturday, Oct. 26 when the Mavericks play the Phoenix Suns. At least 15 of those will also be simulcast on WFAA's Ch. 8.

The free option is part of WFAA and TEGNA's new multi-year agreement to broadcast Dallas Mavericks games. Fans who have a TV with antenna capabilities or have a television provider that includes KFAA in its offering won't have to pay to watch games this season.

Fans can access MavsTV starting now through the NBA app, NBA.com and all NBA-supported assets, powered by the NBA’s Next Gen integrated digital platform, the release states. A MavsTV app will launch later this season with game footage, exclusive coverage and on-demand content, the Mavs said.

“We have been waiting for this moment for a long time,” Cynt Marshall, Dallas Mavericks CEO, said in the release. “We are thrilled to offer multiple options for our fans who deserve seamless, enjoyable viewing experiences.”

Fans who purchase a season-long pass can choose either a pair of tickets to an upcoming game or a $75 merchandise gift card, the release states.

The broadcast team on MavsTV will include Mark Followill, Derek Harper and Devin Harris, Dana Larson, Lesley McCaslin and Jeff “Skin” Wade. Plus, a rotation of guest analysts and former Mavs players will regularly join the broadcast, the release states.

Long-time Mavs radio play-by-play man Chuck Cooperstein will continue calling the team's games this season on 97.1-FM The Eagle, but will do so with a new partner. Veteran color analyst and former Mavericks great Brad Davis announced his retirement from the radio broadcast this offseason. He'll be replaced on the call by former Bally Sports Southwest studio analyst Brian Dameris. Victor Villalba will continue to call games in Spanish on Zona MX 99.1 FM.
