FORT WORTH, Texas — Fort Worth is set to play a starring role.

The new Paramount+ show "Landman" makes its debut on Sunday, and it appears Cowtown will play a prominent part of setting the scene.

The show, which is helmed by Fort Worth native Taylor Sheridan (of "Yellowstone" and other Paramount fame), was filmed across various Fort Worth locations, including downtown and the track and field facility at TCU.

This much, we knew -- earlier this year, the show put out casting calls for the TCU track scene, and Landman stars Jon Hamm and Billy Bob Thornton kept popping up around town (a Dallas thrift store for Hamm, Joe T. Garcia's for Thornton).

But now we have a better idea at how the filming will look on TV, after Paramount dropped a second trailer for Landman a couple weeks ago.

The show chronicles the life and business of an oil field landman (Thornton) and the white collar role played by Hamm, whose character is married to Demi Moore's character. Yes, it seems Don Draper found a pair of cowboy boots to go with his suits.

Thornton's character is less squared away, describing himself in one scene from the trailer as a "divorced alcoholic with $500,000 in debt. And I'm one of the lucky ones."

While the show is mostly set in the West Texas oil field and boomtowns, Fort Worth seems to play the role of the "big city" here, where the oil money flows to.

Here are the filming locations we've noticed so far, from the two trailers:

Downtown Fort Worth

The Fort Worth skyline sets the scene immediately, with shots of the City Place Center towers and Burnett Plaza, the tallest building in Fort Worth.

And then there's Hamm's character, talking on the phone while he walks through Sundance Square downtown.

Odessa Permian's Ratliff Stadium

This location is far from North Texas, but it's one you'll likely recognize: Odessa Permian's Ratliff Stadium, famous for the setting for the Friday Night Lights book and movie.

TCU's track and field

The TCU track and field stadium was among the Fort Worth locations where Landman filmed, starting in February. The TCU scene was featured among the show photos released by Paramount this week, with Hamm's and Moore's characters supporting their TCU track athlete daughter.
