DALLAS — A murder investigation is underway after a man was found dead Thursday morning inside his Oak Lawn home.
Dallas police said they were called on a welfare check at 10 a.m. at 2132 Lucas Drive, near Harry Hines Boulevard. A neighbor told police that he smelled an unusual odor coming from the location.
Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and found 47-year-old Andy Longoria dead inside.
Police have not released many details but said homicide detectives are investigating Longoria's death as a capital murder.
