DALLAS — It's official: Parking rates at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport have increased, effective Wednesday.

The rates have increased between $2 and $5 per day, including a $3-per-day increase for people passing through the airport “to support ongoing infrastructure and service enhancements,” the airport said.

The daily terminal parking rates will increase from $27 per day to $32 per day, the express covered parking rate will increase from $18 to $21, express uncovered rates will go from $15 to $18, remote rates will go from $12 to $14, valet rates will go from $40 to $45, and the pass-through rate will go from $6 to $9.

The cost of picking someone up or dropping someone off at the airport remains unchanged at $2 for cars on the premises between 8 and 30 minutes.

The airport is planning more than $500 million in roadway and parking projects over the next few years, including the International Parkway project that will transition access to several terminals with right-hand exit bridges, and the reconstruction and renovation of Terminal C’s parking garages and associated roadways.

DFW Airport has raised its parking rates twice in seven years.

Earlier this year, the airport’s board and operations committee approved a contract with Innovation Next+ of Irving for up to $914,026,758 for the design and construction of a new, sixth terminal – Terminal F, south of Terminal D.
