FORT WORTH, Texas — Grapevine native Post Malone and Jelly Roll, who are in North Texas for the Academy of Country Music Awards tonight, made a stop at Koe Wetzel’s Riot Room in Fort Worth, according to an Instagram post they shared.
The bar and restaurant, named for country singer-songwriter Koe Wetzel in the West 7th district area of Fort Worth, shared photos of the musicians with fans on social media.
Jelly Roll also performed at Billy Bob’s Texas in the Fort Worth Stockyards for a charity event May 14.
Malone, a rapper, singer, and songwriter, recently made his country debut and collaborated with Morgan Wallen on the single “I Had Some Help.”
Both Malone and Jelly Roll will take the stage at the ACM Awards along with the likes of Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, and more.
The ACM Awards, hosted by Reba McEntire, airs at 7 p.m. from Ford Center at the Star in Frisco and will be streamed on Prime Video. Wallen has among the most nominations in the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards with six. Luke Combs has eight nominations and Megan Maroney also has six.
