Grapevine native Post Malone releases new country single with Morgan Wallen

Many got a first taste of Post Malone's country chops when he performed during Matthew McConaughey's We're Texas Benefit in 2021. Now, he's released his own song.

GRAPEVINE, Texas — Posty's going full-on country, y'all.

Grapevine native rapper, singer and songwriter Post Malone released "I Had Some Help" alongside country artist Morgan Wallen on Friday, a single which will be featured on his first ever full-length country album to be released later this year. The single's release comes on the heels of the duo's performance at Stagecoach in front of a sold out crowd.

During Post Malone's set at Stagecoach, he also welcomed superstar guests Brad Paisley, Sara Evans, and Dwight Yoakam.

To date, the Grapevine artist rose to fame in the rap and pop music scene, but has dabbled in country music over the years, mainly as covers that were posted to social media.

Many got a first taste of Post Malone's country chops when he performed during Matthew McConaughey's We're Texas Benefit during the COVID-19 pandemic. Sitting on a chair in a studio with a guitar in hand, camouflage cap on and cowboy boots on his feet, he swooned us all with his rendition of "I'm Gonna Miss Her" by Brad Paisley. They also performed this song together at the aforementioned Stagecoach set.

Now, alongside Wallen, "I Had Some Help" had been teased on social media for weeks leading up to its release on Friday.
