Mesquite police are looking for a man who stole two cellphones and then threatened people with a gun near an elementary school.
The robbery occurred around 3 p.m. Monday near the basketball courts at Pirrung Elementary School. The cellphone owners were playing basketball and had left their phones on the grass, police said.

The man ran into the neighborhood. The suspect is described as a black man between the ages of 17 and 20. He's approximately 6-feet-1, with short hair and a "medium build," police said.
He was wearing a green shirt and black shorts at the time of the robbery, police said.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward up to $5,000 for tips leading to his arrest and indictment.
