DALLAS — Uniqlo, a Japanese fashion brand, will open its first DFW store at Galleria Dallas in October.
The store will be two stories and 20,000 square feet, Galleria Dallas said in a press release Tuesday. Rumors have swirled around Uniqlo's arrival in DFW since February after projects were registered in January for The Parks at Arlington Mall and Galleria Dallas with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Now it's officially headed for the Galleria Dallas, with offerings for men, women and children, along with accessories.
The store will be located next to the Spanish brand Mango, which opened up a store in the Galleria in September 2023.
Two other retailers, The Royal Standard and Lindsay Nicholas New York, will open their first DFW stores in the Galleria this fall, the mall announced.
The Royal Standard, which sells fashion, gifts and accessories, will open its retail location in September. Also in September, Lindsay Nicholas New York, a women's fashion brand, will sell luxury wardrobe essentials, according to the press release.
Several other stores, including Lululemon and Gregory's, announced they will expand their presence in Galleria Dallas.
The new offerings come amid cosmetic improvements at Galleria Dallas, the release states. Next, all restrooms in the shopping center will get an upgrade and the center’s signature digital board over the ice rink will be replaced.
“Big things are coming to our shopping center, showing us a glimpse of the Galleria Dallas of the future,” Angie Freed, Galleria Dallas general manager, said in the release. “We continue to curate our roster of retailers and restaurants, giving our shoppers the best selection in North Texas.”
In June, Galleria Dallas announced it will house Netflix House, a new "experiential entertainment venue," coming to Dallas in 2025. The Galleria location will be just one of two U.S. locations to see a Netflix House open in fall 2025. The other location will be in King of Prussia, Pa.
