A management consulting firm is the latest company to move its headquarters to North Texas from California.

Resources Connection Inc. told investors that it shifted its corporate headquarters to Dallas as of Nov. 1. It had previously been based in Irvine, outside Los Angeles, for almost 30 years.

Resources Connection (Nasdaq: RGP) is a consulting company that provides workers for human resources, finance and technology.

It wasn't clear how many employees the company would bring to Dallas or what the move means for its operations. Resources Connection did not respond to a request for comment.

The company’s new executive office is located at 15950 North Dallas Pkwy., suite 330, in Far North Dallas, according to a Nov. 4 filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Resources Connection has a referral network of 2,585 consultants and 791 management and administrative employees as of May, according to a separate SEC filing. The company reported $632 million in revenue in fiscal 2024, an 18% year-over-year decrease.

Resources Connections sold its Irvine headquarters building in August, according to the Orange County Business Journal.

While headquarters relocations to DFW have slowed down, they haven't stopped entirely. Medical device company Koya Medical Inc. plans to relocate to Dallas from Oakland while digital education company Simplilearn Solutions Pvt. Ltd. announced in October plans to move its U.S. headquarters to Plano from San Francisco.
