FRISCO, Texas — H-E-B's North Texas expansion continues with an opening date set for their second Frisco location.
The Texas-based grocer will open a location at 899 University Drive (at Highway 380 and FM 423) in Frisco on August 7. Their first Frisco location at 4800 Main Street opened in September 2022.
“Grand opening events will feature company executives along with city officials, community leaders, and area nonprofits to celebrate the occasion,” according to a press release.
H-E-B recently celebrated the opening of a new location in Mansfield and broke ground on a new store in Rockwall County, the grocer’s first project in the county.
H-E-B has had a presence in Dallas since 2001 via their Central Market stores, but only recently started opening their H-E-B and Joe V's Smart Shop stores in North Texas. Now, they have store locations in Plano, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, and more, according to its website. The second Frisco location will be H-E-B's 15th storefront in North Texas.
In June, they opened the first Joe V’s Smart Shop in Dallas at 4101 W. Wheatland Road.
