DALLAS — After suddenly closing all its stores in April, Foxtrot Market announced it will be reopening stores in Dallas next year.

The chain is reopening one of its Chicago locations on Saturday, but that's the only store with a concrete reopening date.

Right now, it's unclear which Dallas locations will reopen and when. In a release from Foxtrot, the company only states "More Foxtrot locations are scheduled to reopen in Chicago and Dallas through 2025."

The store's previous owner, Outfox Hospitality, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy back in June. Since then, Foxtrot's founder, and current chairman, Mike LaVitola has started the process of reopening Foxtrot locations.

WFAA saw workers loading a U-Haul at the Uptown location on McKinney Ave. in August, but despite multiple attempts to reach Foxtrot, we have not heard anything back.

Foxtrot is a self-described "upscale corner store," offering local and exclusive products with a café experience.

The company operated 33 markets before the bankruptcy filing across Dallas, Chicago, Austin and Washington D.C. Foxtrot made no mention of reopening its Austin or D.C. locations in its release.
