Halloween events in Dallas-Fort Worth: Harry Potter concert, murder mystery dance, horror film festival and more this weekend

We found events to keep you busy from Friday through Halloween Day.

DALLAS — This is probably the only time we can cuss in a news story and not get in trouble: October flew by faster than a bat out of hell!

To end the month with a bang, we've been working on a list of events that'll keep you floating from Friday to Halloween night on Tuesday.

We've split the events for each day between "Spooky" and "Not Spooky." So whether or not you're in the Halloween spirit, we hope we found something that you're interested in.

Keep in mind, even if you're avoiding spooky, scary skeletons, the temps are expected to drop the weekend, so that could still send shivers down your spine!

Here's a look at what's happening this Hallo-weekend.

Friday, Oct. 27
