DURANT, Okla. — A third North Texan won $1 million Sunday at Choctaw Casino & Resort Sunday morning.
A Collin County resident, Chandra G., won the $1 million grand prize drawing as part of the 3 Months. 3 Millionaires summer promotion at Choctaw Casino & Resort.
“I came out tonight to win the $1 million,” Chandra said. “I was really shocked and excited when my name was called. It’s awesome.”
As part of the promotion, Choctaw gave away $5.8 million to Rewards Club members this summer, according to a press release from the Casino.
Chandra, a software engineer, moved from California to North Texas and brings his family to the Casino regularly.
The first winner in the promotion was also a Collin County resident, she chose to remain anonymous. The second winner was Carl Stone of Trenton, Texas.
This is the second year Choctaw Casino held the 3 Months. 3 Millionaires promotion and all six winners are from North Texas, according to the release.
