Easter Sunday

Clouds will be around to start Easter morning, but North Texas will not see any rain out of those clouds.

If you are heading out for sunrise services, expect cloudy, mild, and dry weather. Temps will be in the 50s to start the day.

Heading through Easter Sunday, skies will slowly clear with some peeks of afternoon sunshine possible.

Highs will top out at or around 70° with some places hitting the low to mid 70s if skies really clear overhead.

Beyond Easter

The big story in the weather world is the warm up this week. Afternoon highs return to above normal with potentially some of the warmest temps we've seen so far this year by the middle part of the week.

The "cold" front on Wednesday will not bring a huge cool-down nor will it bring high rain chances to North Texas. Any showers or storms with the front on Wednesday look to mainly be across East Texas with most of North Texas staying dry.

Overall the upcoming week is looking warm and dry. We definitely need some rain!
