Corpus Christi Medical Center announced that most of its Corpus Christi facilities will stay open, but:

  • ER 24/7 Rockport (400 Enterprise Blvd, Rockport)
  • ER 24/7 Northwest (13725 Northwest Blvd, Corpus Christi)
  • ER 24/7 Portland (1702 Highway 181 North, Suite A-11, Portland)

will close as of 6 p.m. Saturday.

A sandbag distribution will be held for Robstown residents, while supplies last, at 5 p.m. at the Johnny Calderon Building parking lot at 603 E Ave A. in Robstown. 

11:45 a.m.

San Patricio County Judge David Krebs asks residents in low-lying areas, high-profile vehicles, and RV’s in the eastern portion of the county and in Aransas Pass, Gregory, Ingleside, Ingleside on the Bay, and Portland to voluntarily evacuate. Vehicle travel should be limited midnight Monday-6 p.m., effective at noon Saturday.

10:35 a.m.

The city of Corpus Christi extended J.C. Elliott Transfer Station and Collection Center hours Saturday until 8 p.m. so residents can clear brush that could become hazardous during the storm.
