We had a beautiful Thanksgiving day with temperatures topping out more than ten degrees above normal and sunny.
The next cold front moves tonight bringing in cooler air by Friday morning. Clouds will also be on the increase with some spotty showers possible during the day on Friday.
Widespread rain will move in from west to east throughout Saturday and staying very chilly. Rain should be ending early Sunday morning with clearing skies on Sunday. Even though some thunderstorms are possible, the severe threat looks very low in North Texas Friday through the weekend.
Rainfall totals look to be highest across eastern and southeastern North Texas, but the D-FW area can hope for around half an inch to an inch of rain by the end of the weekend.
