This week
Temps will slowly warm to back a little above normal by mid-week before soaring into the 70s by then end of the week. A strong south wind on Friday brings temperatures to near fifteen degrees above the normal for this time of the year.
Rain chances are not looking impressive. Unfortunately, that chance isn't as good as we need it to be. Severe drought continues to grip the region. Highs will jump above normal just before the weekend!
Another front swings through the area late Friday. This front will cool temperatures into the 40s/50s with little to no rain. Morning lows Sunday morning could dip into the 20s, bringing a light freeze to North Texas.
