Showers and storms mainly in eastern North Texas Sunday afternoon.

There is a chance of some afternoon redevelopment of showers or storms, but those will occur mainly across East Texas.

So from mid-afternoon onward, most of North Texas is looking dry.

Thanks to the morning rain and resultant cloud cover, temps this afternoon will be held down. Highs will only top out in the 80s across the heart of North Texas.

The exception is for areas that did not rain this morning. While clouds area still possible, your high temps could reach the 90s.

If you have outdoor or grilling plans later today, they should still happen! It just may take until mid-afternoon to be done with the rain.
