DALLAS — It wasn't record heat, but it sure was hot. Dallas-Fort Worth hit 104° Sunday afternoon, which beats the 103° we saw on Aug. 7 and 8.
But no matter how hot is may feel, this is not record heat nor is it shocking to see a temperature that high in North Texas.
Here's a little more context:
Hotter Monday...
Temps look like they'll be even hotter on Monday, which could end up being the NEW hottest day so far this summer.
However, after Monday a weak "cold" front moves into North Texas which will help drop temps a bit the rest of the week. While it will still be plenty hot and triple digits are possible, it may not be as hot for the second half of the week.
