Heavy rain, thunderstorms dominate the D-FW forecast this week

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will continue on and off throughout  the day.  The good news for North Texas is the more stable and drier airmass in place.

North Texas could see 2 to 3 inches of rainfall before the end of next weekend with many locations receiving more than 3 inches total across Dallas/Fort Worth. The entire month of May averages just under 5 inches of rain for the month. It is one of our wettest months of the year.  We will keep you updated on any changes as the week continues.
