Holiday timeline: below normal with low rain chances for the 4th of July

The end the holiday weekend will be warm and humid, but below normal for a July 4th. Not impossible for someone to see a shower, but most will be dry.

Rain totals Saturday

It was feast or famine across North Texas Saturday morning. Some locations southwest of the metroplex picked up close to 4" of rain.

Sunday (4th of July)

Looking pretty dry for most of North Texas!

Some spotty showers or storms are possible mainly for western and southern North Texas, but even in those areas most will stay dry.

Just remember to move things indoors and get off the local lakes if thunderstorms are nearby!

Temps during the day will be in the upper 80s to low 90s, which is below normal. And it could end up being the coolest 4th of July in 14 years!

Fireworks Forecast

If there are any showers and storms in North Texas during the day, they will come to a close heading into the evening and nighttime hours.

That means a dry forecast for any fireworks plans!

Temps will be in the 80s and it may be a little muggy, but WAY better than it normally is for the holiday!
