DALLAS — Skies have cleared after Thursday night's severe storms brought hail, high winds and heavy rain across North Texas. Damage reports have trickled in from several areas, including Denton, Hopkins and Parker counties.

The weather has been excellent! More beautiful weather is in the forecast for Sunday. Winds will be stronger on Sunday and gusts from the south could approach 30mph at times, but temps look to be 1-3° warmer than Saturday. Enjoy!

Looking ahead into next week, temps warm even more on Monday with highs in the 80s.
But changes arrive the rest of the week.
A cold front will be sliding down into North Texas, which will bring back cooler air. How far south that front makes it will determine highs the second half of the week. If the front moves farther south, it could end up being cooler than what the forecast holds right now.
Rain will return as well with the best chances Wednesday and Thursday at the moment.
Cooler air really pushes into the area late week into the weekend. Doesn't look to be an arctic blast, but several days of below normal temps are possible.
