Expect warmth and rain for opening day of Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo

FORT WORTH, Texas — The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo kicks off this Friday, and the weather will feel NOTHING like January. 

Another storm system will move through the area late this week. That brings the chance for showers and thunderstorms in Fort Worth.

While it’s not expected to be an all-day rain, there will be at least a risk for a wet opening day. Severe weather is NOT expected.

Temperature wise, it’ll be really warm for this time of year. Highs are expected to be close to 70° this Friday.
