DALLAS —
Quick facts:
- Dry and pleasant most of the week
- Temps warm heading closer to Christmas
- Rain returns leading up the Christmas Holiday
This week
The first part of the week will be quiet. A front will move overnight into Monday, but it will not bring us any rain. All it will do is drop temps back to around normal for Monday and Tuesday.
Wednesday starts a bigger warm-up with highs in the 60s. Clouds will be around as well with a decent breeze out of the south as moisture returns to the area. Thursday could feature a few late day showers, but most of the day looks dry. Better rain chances return on Friday as a round of showers is possible across the area.
Early look at the Christmas forecast
This year will NOT be a White Christmas. But it could be RAINY around Christmas. And definitely looks to feature mild temps.
Christmas Eve looks to bring showers during the day with highs in the 60s. There could be some lingering showers on Christmas Day in the area as well.
The storm system that is bringing these rain chances is currently just south of the Aleutian Islands, so exact timing, coverage, and amounts will be fine-tuned this week.
