DALLAS — Here's our latest forecast and what we're expecting across North Texas this week:
En español: Clima en Dallas-Forth Worth ahora: La semana comienza cálida pero se esperan lluvias dispersas esta semana
Thursday - Thursday night
Most of Thursday looks to be fairly quiet. Another cloudy day with areas of fog but temps could be a little warmer than what we saw on Wednesday.
Can't rule out a passing shower during the day, but most places will be dry.
As we head into the evening and nighttime hours, scattered storms are possible across the area.
Showers and storms will increase in coverage into the overnight from D-FW to the southeast.
Once again, the severe threat is low, but can't rule out a storm or two with hail up to quarter size during the evening into the overnight hours mainly southeast of the metroplex. Areas south of I-30 and east of I-35 would be where we see the strong storm IF it takes shape.
10-day forecast
Temps will continue to go up and down the rest of the week into the weekend and even into next week.
There's an outside chance for a t-storm late in the day on Saturday, but any storms will have to fight a strong cap in place. IF a storm can develop it would likely be severe, but that looks to be a big IF at this point.
