Monday

Monday brings some changes in cooler temps and rain chances.

Highs on Monday will be cooler than the weekend with afternoon temps in the 60s and low 70s.

Late day into the evening some spotty to scattered showers and storms are possible from the D-FW area to the south. Severe storms are not likely, but some brief heavy rain or small hail is possible if you find yourself under a storm.

This week

After an early week cool-down, temps will warm the second half of the week.

Late week is also a better chance for thunderstorms and possibly severe weather.

The way it looks now, some scattered showers or storms are possible Thursday, but the severe threat may stay mainly west of the majority of North Texas.

Storms increase Thursday night into Friday morning along with the threat of some of them being strong to severe.

Exact timing, coverage, and severe threat will be fine-tuned this week as we get closer. Keep checking back for updates!
