Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories continue

A heatwave continues to build this week, and dangerous heat is expected to stick around for quite a while. As of now, Excessive Heat Warnings and Heat Advisories continue to be in effect for all of North Texas. This is likely to be extended each day this week, this weekend, and possibly into next week.

Temps will be at or around 100° the rest of the workweek and into this weekend. The humidity will make it feel like between 105° and 110° each afternoon. Excessive Heat Warnings are issued for heat index values over 110°.
