DALLAS — Severe storms had cleared out of North Texas on Tuesday night, but a brief round of storms developed around 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for parts of Collin County as the storms moved east through the area. Storms were also developing in southern Tarrant and Dallas counties.
Here's what we were expecting heading into Wednesday:
Wednesday
A dryline and cold front will be sweeping through North Texas on Wednesday.
A brief round of storms popped up first thing Wednesday morning, but it looks like most of the area will be dry.
Any storms will quickly move east during the morning hours with all of North Texas dry by mid to late morning.
Storms are more likely from the midday hours into the afternoon across East Texas and over into Louisiana. That's why the severe threat is here for areas east of North Texas.
