Friday
Most of the day Friday will be warm and humid. Highs will be in the 90s with a heat index in the 100s. Some storms will be possible along a dryline after 4 p.m. These storms could be strong to severe with large hail and strong winds. These storms could start along I-35 before moving east. Most will be rain-free.
Warm Memorial Day Weekend
Temps are on the rise for the holiday weekend with highs in the 90s for most. Due to high humidity, the heat index will likely be in the 100s, so make sure to have a way to stay cool if you plan to be outdoors! A front may help lower humidity on Memorial Day, but temps will still be trending warmer than normal for late May.
Storm chances through the weekend are low, but not zero. Storms could pop up Saturday evening, but are not guaranteed for all. If storms do develop, they will be isolated. The main threat will be large hail and strong winds.
