DALLAS — Another round of widespread rain has come and gone. And it was really great to see it!

But what now? Well, it's just treats for North Texas weather as we approach Halloween!

Trick-or-Treat Forecast

En español: Clima en Dallas Fort Worth ahora: Mayormente agradable esta semana con tormentas antes del fin de semana

By the evening hours, temps will cool just a bit and winds will stay light.

That will make for some very pleasant weather as ghosts and zombies walk around the neighborhood!

Rest of the week

Most of the week will be quiet, but changes arrive again late in the week and into the weekend.

Temps will warm slowly with mild weather around through mid-week. Temps will then warm a bit more late in the week with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

Our next storm system is due to arrive sometime Friday into Saturday. There are still a good deal of questions, though, surrounding this storm system regarding timing, rain coverage, severe weather threat, and rain totals. As of now, it looks like we could see some strong storms to end the week.

We'll keep you posted, but as of now, another shot at widespread rain looks very possible. This round of showers and storms may bring a better chance for severe storms than the last few rain events, too, so be sure to keep checking back for updates!
