There is a bit of a cool-down in store late week, but temps will still be around or above normal for this time of year. You'll notice it a bit more in the morning with widespread 40s likely for temps Thursday and Friday mornings.

Temps will climb again with highs potentially back in the upper 70s by the end of this weekend.

However, much cooler temps and rain chances return next week. Keep scrolling for a look at the 14 day forecast!

DFW weather: 14-day forecast for North Texas

The pattern turns active again next week with rain and storm chances returning to the area. Right now, best chances look to be sometime in the Monday-Tuesday time-frame, but we'll fine-tune as we get closer as the storm system could speed up or slow down. Keep checking back for timing, coverage, and severe weather chances as we get closer.

You'll also notice the coolest air of the season so far! The second half of next week finally looks chilly with highs potentially only in the 50s and morning lows well down in the 40s. Some 30s will even be possible.
