DALLAS — Some changes in the weather this weekend with cooler weather arriving in time for Thanksgiving.
Quick Facts:
- Showers/storms possible Monday
- Cooler weather tonight -Tuesday
- Thanksgiving looks cool and dry
Monday front and storm chances
Monday looks like it will be fairly dry for most of North Texas, but there is a chance of t-storms and severe weather for some.
That threat is mainly for areas east/southeast of DFW during the afternoon into early nighttime hours. As a front moves in, some scattered t-storms are possible along and ahead of that front which could become severe with a hail and wind threat.
Otherwise, it will be a warmer and windy day with highs in the 70s and gusty winds from the northwest.
14-day forecast
Behind the cold front on Monday, cooler weather will return leading up to Thanksgiving with chilly mornings and pleasantly cool afternoons.
Thanksgiving itself looks dry as of now, but we'll have to watch a disturbance to our south. At the moment it looks like rain will be confined to areas south of North Texas more along the Texas coast, but we'll continue to monitor for any changes.
