DALLAS — Quick Recap:
- Scattered rain returns Saturday morning
- Beautiful and seasonable day Sunday
- It stays cool through the weekend and most of next week
Cool weekend. A little rain possible
It won't be a washout. Don't cancel outdoor plans.
An approaching cold front interacts with the moisture bringing another round of scattered rain on Saturday mainly during the morning hours. Some showers could linger during the afternoon for areas east of D-FW.
Clouds will clear from west to east during the day. Even though a "cold" front is moving through, afternoon temps will actually be warmer behind the front because those areas will see afternoon sunshine.
Temperatures Sunday morning will be in the 30s with wind chills in the 20s. It does look like most locations stay above freezing. The afternoon will be seasonable with highs in the 50s.
Storm system next week
Monday will be a quiet day, but all eyes are on Tuesday.
A chilly rain is very likely but that rain could mix with some SNOW late in the day.
