DALLAS — Meteorological summer began on June 1, and it's been a hot one, so far. Looking ahead to the rest of summer, we don't see any reason to believe it won't remain hot. For more on that, check out this story.
Relief is almost here!
That cold front that moved though Sunday will bring cooler temps to start the workweek. We'll finally be back to around normal for this time of year. Yes, the afternoons won't be "cool" by any means, but it will feel much better than it has recently.
Temps warm through the week with highs in the upper 90s to triple digits by 4th of July weekend.
Don't forget to stay safe
In terms of weather related deaths, heat is the number one killer. It is vital to stay hydrated and limit time outdoors.
Please don't take the heat lightly.
