DALLAS —
A very warm start to the workweek
Our weather pattern is resembling spring a bit more this week!
It'll be partly sunny, warm and breezy through Tuesday. Record high temperatures are not in jeopardy, but highs will be trending near twenty degrees warmer than the normal for late February.
Highs on Monday and Tuesday are expected to be in the 80s for much of North Texas.
A warmer pattern
The 80s won't last all week, but even the "cool downs" are more spring-like than February-like. While this is certainly above normal for this point in the year, they will not be record highs. Record highs this time of year are in the upper 80s to 90s.
The upcoming week into the following weekend will see an unsettled weather pattern over North Texas.
Next chance of rain looks to be on Wednesday. The good news is even though temps will be warm, the severe weather threat looks very minimal for our area. Temps cool a bit late week into the weekend but nothing close to winter-like. More showers or storms may be around next weekend.
