Heat Alerts Return
The break from the heat is short-lived as all of North Texas is under a Heat Advisory again on Monday.
Afternoon temps will soar to at or above 100° and afternoon heat index values will be between 105° to 110° in most locations.
Stay cool and hydrated if you are going to be outdoors!
A Heat Advisory or even an Excessive Heat Warning will likely be needed for most of North Texas throughout the workweek as temps will stay at or above 100°.

Heat and humidity aren't going anywhere anytime soon. But it does look like we have another chance at a bit of a cool-down and rain chances next weekend.
Much like this weekend a summertime "cold" front may sneak into North Texas bringing back a chance for some showers and storms.
It's the middle of the summer, so rarely do these fronts bring a major cool-down but it could drop temps below 100° for a couple of days.
