Thursday
Thursday morning may feature some areas of fog mainly southeast of the metroplex. Once that clears out, we will see a mix of sunshine and clouds for the afternoon with highs in the 80s. Warmer weather is expected for our western counties where air will be drier. Mid-70s for our eastern counties where we see a bit more clouds through the day.
Storms on Friday?
Maybe.
Temps keep climbing the rest of the week with highs 80° or above by Friday. The weekend will bring a bit of a cool-down, but it will bring temps back close to normal.
Isolated thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon and evening, but a strong cap looks to be in place so storms are not guaranteed. There may only be 1-3 storms that form, but it is that time of year when even if we do not have high coverage of storms those storms could be severe.
A front will move in Saturday morning, but the way it looks now not much rain will accompany it so most of the weekend will be dry. Low humidity and 70s for most of the weekend!
