Here's what to expect:
Quick Facts:
- Frost and freezes are possible a few mornings this week
- Rain has ended for now
- Warmer temps return late week into the weekend
Frost and freezes
Most of northern North Texas saw a freeze Monday morning, but all of North Texas will have a chance for a freeze Wednesday morning. A freeze warning signifies the first freeze of the season. It is about three weeks early!
THIS IS NOT PIPE-BURSTING COLD! But it does warrant protecting any tender vegetation or bringing the plants inside. Also covering outdoor faucets or spigots is a good idea. Remember the pets and those without heat!
14 day
After a chilly start to the week, temps will warm back into the 70s by the end of the week into the weekend. It'll be nice to dry out as well after all the rain over the past week with rain chances staying out of the forecast for the time-being.
