DALLAS — Severe storms prompted a tornado warning and left behind widespread damage across North Texas on Tuesday morning. And then the concern turned to flooding.

While severe storms began to shift east out of North Texas, heavy rains remained in the area, causing flooding concerns and high water issues on highways and side streets. Most of North Texas was under a flash flood warning for much of the rest of the morning Tuesday.

We'll be tracking the latest flooding updates, including photos and video, here throughout the morning as we get them, both from our viewers and our crews in the field.

WFAA reporter Tiffany Liou posted video from Interstate 635 in Dallas that showed some of the ponding and flash flooding concerns that drivers might encounter Tuesday morning.
