Heat Advisories continue

A heatwave continues this weekend. Dangerous heat continues as heat index values will be between 105° and 110° on Sunday.

Actual high temps will be at or around 100°, but as mentioned above heat index values will be higher than the actual temp.

If you have outdoor plans, make sure to have a way to stay cool and stay hydrated!

Rain?

Not much.

It is not impossible for an isolated shower or storm across mainly East Texas into northeastern North Texas, but even in those areas most will stay dry.

Looking ahead to July 4th

Plenty of heat! As of now, the holiday is looking dry with highs around 100°. Heat index values will certainly be higher than that during the afternoon. Any rain chances look like they will hold off until after the holiday.
